So today I thought I’d share with you 7 unknown secrets about me. Not that any of my unknown secrets will be anything to motivate you, but I’m hoping it will give you a reason to smile or make you laugh. Literally.Out.Loud.
1. I’m Incredibly Silly
I don’t necessarily show this to everyone, but just ask my family. They’ll tell you that it’s not unusual for me to dance around the house singing silly songs, or sing along at the intro of a TV commercial.
2. “New Born” Saying
Any thing that is teeny-tiny or mini size, I refer to it as “a new born.” I mean any thing. I’ve done this for so long that my family has incorporated it in their vocabulary.
3. First Car
The very first car I drove was my step-dad’s 1980 Triumph TR7, two-seater, 5 speed. He was adamant about me having this skill in my repertoire. I can tell you, it was quite the scene my first try. But I eventually got the hang of it and my first two cars were 5 speed.
4. All Time Favorite Movies
Greece. The original movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. OMGosh, I can watch this movie over and over. Another little secret. I once dressed up as Olivia Newton-John for a mom and daughter costume party.
My Fair Lady. I mean really. Need I say more. I can remember watching this movie at a young age with my mom and grandma and was fascinated with it. I went around the rest of the day singing, “Just You Wait.“
5. I Tear Up When I Watch Under Cover Boss Celebrity Edition
Happy tears only, of course. I don’t watch it faithfully. But when I do watch it – I watch it to the very end and that’s where I loose it. I just can’t help myself. I am so happy for the ones that have been given an opportunity to full fill a dream or have complete new life.
6. Never Wanted to Miss a Day of School
I didn’t love school, but I never wanted to miss a day of school. I didn’t want to get behind and have a ton of homework to catch up on nor did I want to miss out on anything. Even when I was sick, I’d tell my mom I was feeling better just so she’d send me on.
7. It’s Either All or Nothing
Whether it’s a project at home I’m working on or planning an event or decorating for a friends baby shower. No matter how big or how small the undertaking is, I am 150% in, passionate and obsessing over it. I start with writing down my complete vision from beginning to end to creating a Pinterest board to creating a to-do list.
So there you have it. What are some of your secrets?
Do we have anything in common? :0
