I’m certain the words “work attire” doesn’t stir up much enthusiasm for many.
You can blame it on company dress codes or the general uninspiring idea of putting on an outfit just to sit in a cubicle. But it doesn’t have to be.
Think of your work attire as an outward expression of your personality. Your business attire shouldn’t be stuffy, if you’re not. Haha!! If you have a bubbly or outgoing personality, then let it reflect that in your clothing…..well, within reason. You don’t want people looking at you as though you’ve lost your mind when you walk into the office in a neon yellow outfit. Just sayin’.
Outfit Details:
Blazer {mine is sold out, I’m loving this one} | J Crew Linen Pants
Vici Collection Top | Ann Taylor Heels | J Crew Earrings
So today I’d thought I’d share with you the best stores that have worked for me to buy work clothes—and what to keep an eye out for at each store.
Nordstrom {think trendy and contemporary}
J.Crew {think timeless and classic pieces, pop of pretty colors}
Zara {think statement and trendy pieces}
Banana Republic {think classic workwear}
I hope this post helps you step out of your comfort zone, but most importantly, I hope it gives you a spark and a boost in your confidence to help inspire your Monday – Friday work attire.
Hope you have a fabulous week!
I’m usually working from home so maybe a good PJ in out would be good. Lol
Just kidding, these are great for when I do have to go out and actually SEE people.
Haha! I just may need to do a post on that.
love this post!
Oh, thank you!! 🙂
