Why is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Such a Big Deal
All I can say is, it’s like Christmas in July! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the one time of year Nordstrom unveils brand new Fall merchandise – ON SALE. After the sale, prices go back up. So this event is an amazing time to snag late Summer pieces and start collecting for your Fall, and even Winter pieces.
The only drawback? Taking fashion blog photos in sweaters and coats in 95-degree weather… but, I’m not complaining one bit. I’ll take it!
What Can I Do to Prepare for the Sale
- Mark your calendar and set your clocks for July 12th!
- Clean out your closet! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to stock up on your basics like booties & boots, tees, sweaters, and coats, etc. Knowing what you have and what you need is a great way to prepare for the sale. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the amount of merchandise Nordstrom will have available, {been there} so having a list of needs (or in my case wants, LOL) is helpful.
- Review the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Catalog and highlight or circle items you want to get your hands on. Believe me when I say, popular pieces will go fast, so making a list or prioritizing your items will be a huge help to you.

How and Where do I Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
You can shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale both in stores and online, but for better stock and for a less stressful environment, LOL I HIGHLY RECOMMEND shopping online. In addition, if you have a store near you, you can select in-store pick up. What that means, is you order online and in most incidents can get your items same or next day! Annnnnnnnnnnnnd some stores even offer curbside pickup – how easy is that?! I mean really. Nordstrom is the best!
Do I need a Promo Code to Shop
You don’t need a promo code to shop. If you have Early Access, you’ll log in to your account and automatically be able to shop the sale. If you’re not a cardholder, you’ll be able to see the items but won’t be able to purchase until the 20th. So hurry, go now and get your Nordstrom credit card.

Early Access gives you the ability to shop the sale 8 full whole days before anyone else, and trust me, things fly off the racks (both literally and figuratively). Some items don’t even last a day!
