Cheers to starting a new weekly series. I’ve thought about this for some time and what I decided to do is share with you a recap of my weekend and 5 things I’m currently loving. This is how we’ll start out our week. This may sway one way or another, but I thought this would be a good way for us to interact with each other and share ideas.
So here it goes……..
Family Vacation
We are just returning from our family vacation from Palm Coast, Florida. I think I mentioned in my previous blog post, that my son absolutely loves this place and wants to live here. We stay at my mother-in-laws condo, at an all inclusive resort and well, I have to remind him that this is not real life and people don’t wait on you hand and foot. :0 We had a blast. The week went by so fast.
5 Things I’m Loving
- I bought these sandals {in the saddle leather} for our vacation and I absolutely love them. What impressed me the most is that they are comfortable from the first time you try them on. I truly mean that. I typical don’t wore flats, as they tend to hurt my feet. Go figure. I wore these all day on the Saturday before our trip and not one thing bothered me. So when we went Universal Studios I decided to wear them. They were perfect. I highly recommend them.
- Currently obsessed with this laptop case. I’ve been on the hunt for a laptop case for over a year. Yes, I’m that girl. But nothing I found really took my breath away. Haha!! Just like my iPhone, I take my computer just about everywhere with me due to my job, so naturally I had to have something really cute and stylish, but it also needed to be functional and not to bulky.
- For the past three months I’ve been using a new skin care line and for those of you that know me, know this is a HUGE thing for me to change brands. I’m not one that jumps from brand to brand. My last skin care brand I used for over 7 years and in the midst of it, became a rep. So again, this is a big deal for me. What intrigued me the most about TULA, is that their products are made with natural probiotics and clean skin superfoods. Yes, probiotics. For the skin. Just a quick probiotics 101 for you that are not familiar with it. Probiotics are natural, good-for-you bacteria that work to improve your health, inside and out. These same bacteria that are best known to help balance and calm your stomach are also clinically proven to help promote the look of skin’s natural balance, locking in moisture to leave your complexion more hydrated and reducing the appearance of inflammation. I bought this travel kit for our trip. I can’t say enough about this line. I’m working on a full blog post about it, so stay tuned.
- If you’re looking for an inexpensive cross body bag, look no further. I bought this one right before we went out of town and used it every single day. I’m in love with the color.
- I have to share my one splurge item. I finally broke down and bought a pair of Tory Burch sandals. Yes, they are quite pricey, but if you ask for gift cards to Nordstroms for your birthday and Mother’s Day, you can own a pair too. :0 They are worth every penny and are so darn cute.
That’s all I have for now. Here’s to productive and happy week ahead.
