Our weekend was a little bit of this and that. Last Thursday was my son’s first day of school, so this past weekend we ran a few last minute errands for school supplies and such. But I know what you’re thinking. School, already. I know, right. Having grown up in California, it was never a mystery as to when school started for us. It was always the first business day after Labor Day. The Christian schools here in N.C. start back super early, but the upside to that is the kids get out a week before the public schools and they have a few more teacher work days than the average. I have to keep reminding myself and well, quite frankly, my son too. Ha!
In addition to school, soccer is in full gear, as well. We had soccer practice everyday except Wednesday. Whew….what a week.
Let me just stop right here. I have to tell you guys, I have one amazing kid and I thank God that He called me to be his mom. So grateful for him and his sweet spirt.
5 THINGS I’M LOVING
- If the featured post didn’t give it away, then let me tell you how much I love reading, looking thru and just plain enjoy the Magnolia Journal. It such a treat.
- As Chase and I were running our errands, we ran into the book store and I had to get the Magnolia Story. Looking forward to reading it. No, I haven’t read it, yet. Don’t judge me. :0
- Since purchasing this backpack for work {taracotta color}, I’m obsessed. Who knew such a bag could change your life! I mean, really. It’s incredibly pretty and chic, but the functionality of the bag blows me away. I now want either the beige or the blue colored backpack to hold my personal laptop.
- I literally have this handbag in my cart. I seem to be drawn to smaller purses these days. So much easier to shop with. Haha!! Nordstrom just restocked the beige color and I’m not waiting any longer, it’s coming home with me.
- I took this bag on our recent family trip to Florida and it was perfect to store my book, hair products, makeup products and toiletries in.
That’s all I have for now.
Here’s to productive and happy week ahead.
