“Jewelry is like the perfect spice.
It always complements what’s already there.”
Accessories can prove to be the powerful tool you need to glam your otherwise blah outfit. It’s the little things that can transform your outfits
In one stroke, a scarf, purse, a pair of leopard print shoes or statement earrings can keep things from getting dull and make your #ootd a real show stopper rather than just your everyday basic outfit.
So what do I consider an accessory? Oh….there are so many.

Now that you are familiar as to what an accessory is, let’s talk about mastering the art of accessorizing.
Accessorize Everyday (yes, everyday 😉 )
Accessories are not only for special days, they are for every day, to make you feel more stylish and confident every single day.
No outfit is complete without accessories. Regardless of your routine, try to add at least one accessory to your outfit.
Even when you’re just wearing a plain white tee and jeans, you can add a minimal necklace or a pair of leopard print shoes to create a look that is more put together.

Minimalism is Key
Minimalist jewelry is the fool-proof way to accessorize on a daily basis. It’s such a simple and classy way to amp up the simplest outfit.
You can stack up a couple of minimal pieces to make yourself stand out from the crowd or maybe go for just one or two minimal pieces for a more subtle look.
Statement Jewelry
When you would rather be playful than classic, you need some statement pieces to update your outfit. Statement jewelry is hands down “the best accessory” to make you look chic even when you are in your basics. Wearing staple pieces? No problem, throw on a pair of statement earrings with a pop of color or throw on a cute floppy hat and you’re ready to slay the day!
Pro Tip: When experimenting with statement jewelry, stick to one statement piece at a time.

Accessories are to Complement your Outfit. Not to Complete With It
Don’t choose accessories that will try to compete with your outfit.
If your outfit already has some details and textures, don’t go for heavy or distracting jewelry or shoes.
You’ll guarantee yourself some strange looks for sure.

Shoes, Handbags, Belts, & Scarves
Pairing the right shoes or a stylish handbag can display an instant put together look with minimal effort.

A chunky belt can go a long way, it serves two purposes. Not only will it grab attention to your super cute outfit, but it can also help accentuate your curves or show off that slim waist.
Scarves are one of the easiest and best accessory. You can wear them around your neck, purse, or waist. You decide.
And the good news is, they are no longer limited to winters, you can rock them in any season.
If you finished reading this, you deserve to go shopping for some new accessories. Whewww!
This post was unusually longer than most, but I am a huge fan when it comes to accessories.
Feel inspired? Great. Now take some pictures and send them my way. 🙂
I would love to see how you accessorized your #ootd
