To know me is to know that I have a strong passion when it comes to event planning or decorating. It’s something I fellinto when my son was younger and I was working part-time and involved in his school day to day activities. I love being creative whether it’s putting an outfit together, planning an event, or creating a sweet little corner in our home. As cliche as it may sound, the truth of the matter is, I throughly enjoy helping others, especially when I can play a small role in creating something that they will remember for years to come. So when I was asked to help with my sweet friends baby shower, I was over the moon.
I am in no way a professional, by any means. However, I believe I have a keen eye for certain things that other people may not see. It’s all in the details and I may or may not rearrange pieces of furniture or items a 100 times before I get “that feeling.” LOL. Not to mention, I’m a bit OCD and my wheels are constantly spinning. So to communicate what I have in my head to someone that wants to help, well, let’s just say, I have a problem with trying to explain what I want to see. Ha!
Before I jump in, I really take the time to ask specific questions of my friends, family members, or who ever I’m decorating for. I listen for specific details. I find out what they like and dislike and what they envision seeing in the end. It’s a process I go through every time because when they walk into the room and see for the first time what I’ve created for them, I want it to be extra special moment. I want them to remember what they felt and cherish their special day for years to come.
So without further ado, enter into our Woodlands Themed Baby Shower.
The mommy to be is my go to artist. Haha!! She is behind this beautiful handwriting and had already asked me if she could do this.
I took this picture before the mommy to be wrote on this chalkboard piece.
So this writing is from Christmas. LOL.
I used my photo backdrop stand. Yes, I sure did…and it worked.
The sign reads: “A Baby is Brewing”
For party favors, I purchased teabags and placed them in a drawstring bag. Super easy.
I also purchased Thank you cards for her and asked the guest to address an envelope before they left and place it in the basket. This is such a great idea and is a huge timesaver for the mommy to be.

My friends sister created a “Mom-Osa Station”
This was such a sweet surprise. Mommy and Daddy decided that they would reveal the baby’s name.
It was such a honor and pleasure to create this for my sweet friend.
Hope you guys have a great day!
