Consider this job posting:
“No degree or prior experience required; salary and hours non-negotiable; no paid benefits; lifelong tenure.”
Would you be surprised to learn that 85 million Americans now hold this position?
Their job title is Mom.
It goes without saying that being a mom is one of the toughest, most rewarding jobs out there. Not a day goes by where I’m not grateful for all the hard work and sacrifices that moms across the world make for their families. Sunday, May 10, is a special chance (but c’mon… every day is a new opportunity!) to say “THANK YOU MOM” and “I LOVE YOU!”.
Here’s to all of the moms out there. May I humbly say that you’re simply the #BESTMOMEVER. Thank you all for everything you do every day.
So your mom deserves the best. Or if not your mom, your grandma, aunt, mother-in-law, stepmom, etc. Whoever fills that maternal role in your life, shower them with love and affection this Mother’s Day (it’s free!). If you want to get them a Mother’s Day gift, I’ve got some great ideas for you.
